Info about our loans
Big Picture Loans offers consumer installment loans, which are also known as personal loans. An installment or personal loan is a loan that is repaid over time with a set number of scheduled payments. There are no penalties for paying your installment loan off early, and you can actually save on finance charges by doing so.
Loan approval and amounts are based on minimum income amounts, other credit criteria, and verification of the information you provide during the application process.
If your application is verified and approved by 5:00 p.m. CST, you will generally receive an ACH deposit on the next Business Day*.
Once you submit an application, Big Picture Loans will call or email you if the application is incomplete, or additional information or action on your part is required. You can expedite the process by calling us at

You received a pre-screened offer of credit pursuant to Tribal law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”). The FCRA permits creditors like Big Picture Loans to obtain limited consumer report information for use in connection with unsolicited offers of credit under certain circumstances. This practice is known as “prescreening” and typically involves a credit reporting agency that generates a list of consumers who meet certain pre-established criteria for us to provide a “prescreened” or “pre-approved” offer of credit to you. This is known as a soft credit inquiry and will not impact your credit score. Once you sign the loan agreement and submit the application, Big Picture Loans will verify your information on Tribal land and contact you by email with its final loan decision.

  • If your banking institution is not listed, you can manually add your bank by simply typing the name of your bank into the search bar.
  • Be sure you are using the correct log in credentials for your bank, including your log in and password for your online banking, not your log in to Big Picture Loans.

The Tribe has established a Tribal Dispute Resolution Procedure to review and consider any and all types of complaints made by or on behalf of consumers arising out of the operation of its consumer financial services business (“Business”). The Tribe values its customers and intends, at all times, to see that questions, concerns, issues, and/or complaints raised by consumer borrowers are addressed in a fair and orderly manner. The Tribal Dispute Resolution Procedure is found at Section 9 of the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code, a copy of which may be found at Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code, or obtained upon request. The Tribe intends and requires, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any complaint lodged, filed, or otherwise submitted by you or on your behalf to follow the Tribal Dispute Resolution Procedure. Under the Tribal Dispute Resolution Procedure, if you have already taken steps to resolve your complaint with the Business and you are dissatisfied with the determination of the Business, may seek administrative review of such decision by the Lac Vieux Desert Tribal Financial Services Regulatory Authority (“Authority”). You may seek such administrative review. You must make your administrative review request in writing to the Authority at P.O. Box 249, Watersmeet, MI 49969, within ninety (90) days after receiving the Business’s determination. Within a reasonable time after oral argument, the Tribal Court shall issue an opinion and order regarding your administrative appeal. All opinions and orders of the Tribal Court shall be final and not subject to appeal.
